WOW! What a week it’s been for the Small Town Family!
We have been talking about moving for the past 1.5 years and two of us were NOT in favor of moving (HINT: I was the most NOT in favor). However, the subject of moving came up May 1 and I agreed to go look. Of course, nothing would be good!
During that trip, God put incredible people and places in my path. By the time I returned home, it was very evident that God wanted us to move. AND, God had changed the two reluctant family members’ hearts to say “YES” to the move. There will be no one person dragging the other two towards the new location – we are all in agreement.
Within the last two weeks we have put money down on a new house, put our house on the market, and told people that we are moving. It is UNBELIEVABLE how God has orchestrated everything that has happened this past week. We are certain that God is ready to move us into the next chapter in our lives!
Oh, and remember that manuscript that I sent in for evaluation–I’m going to the writer’s conference this week to find out what the editors thought of it. I’ll also be talking with literary agents and publishers to see if there is any interest in publishing my memoir.
